Everyone experience exhaustion and weariness on some days and it just seems very difficult to pass those days. This exhaustion would sometimes put us down not only days but sometimes a period of time. When you are in this condition, it might seem impossible to take a time off and give yourself a break but know that you can overcome it. But when you found time to yourself, you could be wondering on what to do. Those who are used to being busy most of the time, having some spare moments would seem a bit odd. There are some tips that you can consider, when you are in this situation, so that you will get your energy back on track.

Taking care of the children first is our number one suggestion. Especially in the case of mothers, it is a rare time when you have time to yourself completely. Although this rare time for yourself would happen unexpectedly, more than often you have to make it happen yourself. There are some ways that you can think of to be free even for just a few hours from the kids when you feel you need to get that energy back. For those single moms, you can arrange to have your kids go to their dad’s place for a day. You can also arrange your children to be with your relatives, or visit for a day with their favourite family friend. If you can talk to the parents of the friends of your children, you can let them stay with them for the day, or you can take your kids to a day class.

When you have your time off arranged, think of what activity will help you to relax, and this is your next step. Letting go of our stress would need some effort on our part, and for some people, as simple as taking a long soak in the bath tub or even a long shower will be enough to bring back the lost energy. Some candles and your favourite scent would add to your relaxation while you are having that long soak in the tub. Also, when taking that long shower, you can use scented shampoo and shower gel. While having that long soak in the tub or shower, you can add a relaxing music in the background.

Another way to perk up that energy is to lie down on your sofa and simply do nothing. When you are ready to settle in your sofa, get changed into your most comfortable outfit and do what you like while lying down, like listen to music, read your favourite book, or watch finally the nice movie that you missed out.

To revive yourself from the stress and weary body, tuck in yourself for an early night cap and get some good night sleep.
