PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (CNN) – A Rhode Island couple needed their canine at their wedding day, but he stunned them by racing down the aisle and trying to leap on the bride’s dress.
With pet owners seeking their pets to take part in their weddings, doggie care expert services like For the Adore of Paws now exist that do practically nothing but prep pets for the significant function.
But how do you prepare for Colonel, a yellow lab that coach Danielle Marchessault explained as “excited and fired up”?
His owners, Kate and Drew Gunio, say they are obsessed with their pet and determined there was no way they could get married with no acquiring him there. But Colonel did not just walk down the aisle at the wedding in Portsmouth, Rhode Island he ran down it.
The bride suggests she was most apprehensive about her gown at the time, but her spouse-to-be safeguarded the garment at all costs, placing himself among her and Colonel. He even arrived at in his pocket and pulled out a rawhide handle for the puppy.
The jumping and psyched Colonel knocked more than the microphone established up for the vows.
“He’s always been the major goofball, and we’re so happy that all of our pals and spouse and children bought to see him dwell and in motion. It’s anything that everybody will usually recall, correct?” Kate Gunio reported.
Irrespective of the mishap, Colonel was authorized to keep – right until he jumped up on the bride’s dress in the center of the vows.

The trouble-making – and wedding ceremony-crashing – canine was then escorted away by his coach.
