Zara could be coming back to Plymouth. The trendy fashion store departed the city ten years ago, but now, a comeback could be on the cards.
It was the place that any trendy teenager (or adult) would shop at, so it was a shock to all when it closed down in 2012. The store was eventually replaced by Apple.
But now, applications for jobs adverts in the city have now been posted. One job is for ‘visual merchandisers’, with the second job is for sales assistants. Both jobs can be found online at Vacancy Vite.

The advert says: “Our Sales Assistants are passionate about customer service, our product and fashion. They make sure that the store always looks its best whilst delivering a high level of customer service.
Our sales assistants are given the opportunity to develop their skills and may work on the cash desk or support the delivery team with product deliveries.” The location listed is Plymouth, as is the job for the Visual Merchandisers.
The advert says: “They have an understanding of sales figures and can interpret this data into commercial displays. They recognise the needs of the store in terms of product and ensure we have the best merchandise available for our customers.”

Neither job has a deadline for when applications need to be in by. No details as to where in the city they would be either.
Zara has been contacted for comment and for further details on the jobs. They had not responded as of the time of publication
